President of DFK/USA
Ray Mack, a partner in the Calgary firm of Kenway Mack Slusarchuk Stewart LLP has been elected
President of DFK International during the association's annual conference held this year in San
Francisco.  He is the second Canadian to head up DFK International it its 43 year history.  Amongst
other previous appointments he has served as President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of
Alberta 2000-2001, President of DFK Canada 1995 to 1998, and Managing Partner of KMSS 1986 to
1999.  He is currently a member of the Board of Evaluators for the Canadian Institute of Chartered
Accountants, the chair of the Nominating Committee for the Alberta Institute of Chartered
Accountants, a member of the Accounting Advisory Committee for Mount Royal College and CEO of a
small public company.

Bernhard Winterstetter (Peters Schonberger & Partner, Munich, Germany) who completed his three
year term as President at the San Francisco conference, singled out as the highlights of his term of
office the associations ability to attract quality firms into membership in cities including Shanghai,
Chicago, New York, Moscow, Sao Paulo and Prague along with the implementation of a revised Quality
Assurance Programme.

Other elections to the DFK International Board of Directors included Mike Tovey (Chantrey Vellacott
DFK, UK) as Deputy President and Uday Chitale (M.P. Chitale & Co., Mumbai, India) as Regional Vice
President, Asia-Pacific.
